  2. Kevin Hancock is representative of the progressive, grassroots approach to business that made America a leader, but is too often missing in the business world of today. Credit to him for realizing that meaningful change takes place through a commitment to community and best business practices. Milton Friedman said it best: “The greatest advances of civilization, whether in architecture or painting, in science and literature, in industry or agriculture, have never come from centralized government.” Well done, Mr. Hancock.
